For semi-gloss, it's much less glossy than the Behr premium plus ultra semi-gloss paint I used for trim.īehr Marquee is unfortunately not certified for one-coat coverage in the Colorado I want. Explore 6723 Behr paint colors - find Behr matches across 160400 other paint. Not just from my opinion but the test results prove it. The Behr PRO i300 Series, for high-traffic areas, is slightly more expensive. i300 destroys Promar 200 in every way imaginable. Behr and SW both cross reference i300 to Promar 200. It was expensive even on sale, but it's worth it if it saves time and lasts longer. With that said, I only sell i300 to my builders who do new construction and to my property managers especially ones with high turnover. One coat covered fairly well, but I did two coats on everything that shows. I used SW Emerald for some cabinets, and I have no complaints so far (but it remains to be seen how well it holds up). The tinted wall paint would usually cover with one heavy coat, but I'd often get pinholes, which is probably just bad technique on my part. Both Behr Ultra and Behr Marquee are paint and primer in one, but Marquee has a One-Coat Guarantee. Higher quality paints offer better coverage in fewer coats. In the context of painting, coverage refers to how well the paint covers existing paint or stains on your walls. It chips easily, but that might be my fault for not preparing the surface well enough. One of the major differences between Behr Ultra and Marquee is coverage. It also offers low VOC and low Odour in a GreenGuard Gold certified washable flat. Designed for professionals, it offers superior hide and excellent touch-up in a water-based formula. If I put it on lighter, it would take three coats (on top of primer!). Average Rating: The BEHR PRO PR310 Dead Flat Interior Paint is versatile with great performance whether brushed, rolled or sprayed. If I put it on heavily enough to cover with two coats it would often drip. The trim paint took 2-3 coats on top of primer. I know I should have cleaned it, but the stain was similar color to the old paint, so I didn't notice it, plus this stuff is supposed to be stain blocking. The Premium Plus Ultra ceiling paint usually took two coats, but sometimes three, and one stained spot took 4+ coats. If you're talking about Behr paint, I agree.
